Girard Vandercar was my father. He died 9 years ago. He always spoke of his desire to work together with his four sons in a successful business, whether it was a miniature golf course or a furniture store. I don't think it really mattered to him what the nature of the venture was, but he repeatedly told us that "If you give the customer more than they expected, they'll come back to you."

Well, we never got the chance to open that business with dad, but I hope you can benefit from the customer service I learned from him!
